About Us

We are simply a group of people who like to hike, and who have come together to share our interest. When describing us, the word organization can only be used in the broadest of terms: there are no memberships, fees, president, or rules -other than those of courtesy and common sense. Our only purpose is as a means to get together with others who share our same passion for hiking in the great outdoors.

A few members volunteer for some simple maintenance tasks, but mainly, the engine that keeps our group going consists of the initiative of any member to lead a hike by selecting a trail, doing some basic research, and announcing their intentions via the mailing list.
